Do you remember sitting in a classroom all day struggling to maintain good grades? And do you remember not being rewarded for your hard work?  You’d think your parents would have caught on that children will do anything for bribery, but they didn’t.  That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t either.  Take advantage of the fact that children will do anything for a reward or a bribe; give them a reward for good grades.  If your children understand the meaning behind the bribery then they’ll definitely keep working towards good grades so they can see what is at the end of the roller coaster of rewards.
Certain reasons you should go along with this rewards idea are: the constant rewards will motivate your child to do good in school, there will be no more “no child left behind”, most of the schools will be moving at a faster pace, there will be better testing scores which will result to less summer school time, and your child will be getting a better education because they will be more attentive.
Motivation is really important to incorporate into daily life, especially into school life.  Motivation means to provide with a motive or motives. So providing a reason or motive for you child to work harder or to hang in there will keep them going throughout the day.  Therefore the reward you are promising your child is the motive or motives, depending on what kind of a reward it is.  Another fact about motivation and rewards is, apparently Chuck ‘E’ Cheese rewards kids that have good report cards.  If you have your child bring in their most recent report card and they will receive FREE tokens for good grades.
Right now the public school systems in the state of Delaware have a program “no child left behind”. The Act requires schools to develop assessments in basic skills to be given to all students in certain grades, if those states are to receive federal funding for schools.  This in simpler terms means the teachers do not go on even if only one child is lost in the lesson.  It was a good idea for this act to go into place but it was also a bad one.  It was a bad idea because children who do understand what has been going on are bored.  You may ask how does this have to do with rewards for your children doing well in school. Well, actually it has a lot to do because if all the children and their parents/guardians agree with rewards or grades then there won’t be a “no child left behind” problem anymore.  And then taxes will go down and all the children will be on the same track.
School systems will also be moving at a faster pace. Moving at this faster pace is a lot more practical.  There would be longer summers, longer holidays, and more pay for teachers.  Also your children would be learning at the same pace as children their same age in other schools, or other districts.  Which could be a benefit for studying and homework help situations.   This is also easier for teachers to deal with since they will be the ones doing a lot of the work.
Rewards for good grades will move the school year along with a breeze, because the testing results will be exceedingly better.  Since all of the children will be working their butts off to stay on top.  With the testing scores moving on up, school won’t take up too much time. If you think about it, with better testing scores the children are learning the information correctly and are applying themselves.  This means they won’t have to do homework as much, because homework is mainly to practice what you learned that day or in that lesson.
Being attentive is a very important attribute to use in school. And your child will want to be attentive or more attentive than they already are.  The teacher will realize how much attention your child is paying in class, and will understand why all of a sudden your child is doing better in class.  With your child doing so well and picking up the pace they will be getting a better education.  This better education will be a result of the reward they are working towards.
Getting constant rewards for these precious good grades will turn you child’s life around and change the education department.  Some changes might be: better test scores, more motivation, better education, and schools will be moving at a faster pace to keep education just rolling along. Also the  “no child left behind” act will be diminished down. The main reason you should agree with rewarding your child is, you and your child will both be happy, and that is the most important thing. But remember to try to be smarter than your parents and take a ride on the roller coaster of rewards.
